Mental Health Campaign

Welcome to NAA’s Nationwide Mental Health Campaigns (NMHC) At NAA, we believe in the importance of mental health and wellness for all individuals. Our Nationwide Mental Health Campaigns (NMHC) aim to create awareness, fight against stigma, and provide support to those affected by mental health issues, gender-based violence, and other forms of addiction. We understand the significance of addressing these challenges and promoting a society that values mental well-being.

At NAA, we are committed to promoting mental health and well-being across the nation through our Nationwide Mental Health Awareness Campaign (NMHA). We offer a unique and impactful value proposition that sets us apart and ensures the success and effectiveness of our campaign:

1. Comprehensive Awareness:
Our NMHA campaign provides comprehensive awareness about mental health, covering various aspects such as understanding mental health conditions, recognizing signs and symptoms, and promoting overall well-being. We strive to reach diverse communities and create a society that values and prioritizes mental health.

2. Stigma Reduction:
We actively combat the stigma associated with mental health by fostering understanding, empathy, and acceptance. Through our campaign, we challenge harmful stereotypes and misconceptions, promoting a safe and inclusive environment where individuals feel comfortable seeking help and support.

3. Collaborative Approach:
We believe in the power of collaboration and actively engage with registered mental health professionals, community-based organizations, churches, schools, health facilities, the Ministry of Health, donor organizations, and other stakeholders. By working together, we maximize our impact, share resources, and ensure a holistic approach to mental health promotion.

4. Database Creation and Linkage:
As part of our campaign, we create a comprehensive database of individuals affected by mental health conditions, gender-based violence, and addiction. This database enables us to connect individuals to the appropriate support services, such as counseling and mental healing therapy sessions at Nelisa Recovery Hub. We prioritize the well-being and recovery of those in need.

5. Sustainable Change:
Our NMHA campaign goes beyond raising awareness. We advocate for mental health at the policy level and support the development of policies and initiatives that promote mental well-being. By influencing positive change, we aim to create sustainable impact and a lasting shift in societal attitudes towards mental health.

6. Empowerment and Resilience:
Through our campaign, we empower individuals to take control of their mental health, providing them with the necessary knowledge, resources, and tools to build resilience and well-being. We encourage self-care practices, coping mechanisms, and promote the development of healthy habits that contribute to overall mental wellness.
